About this course:
This course will provide valuable information on recognising the causes and symptoms of fatigue and how it can impact your driving performance. You will also learn important life management skills and work-related measures to prevent fatigue. Understanding the work time requirements, penalties prescribed by legislation, driver logbook requirements, and associated penalties is crucial.
The course is designed for:
- This course applies to both drivers and transport operators. You will need to follow these rules if you drive or operate a vehicle that requires a class 2, 3, 4 or 5 driver's licence. It's important to follow these rules to ensure safety on the road.
Prerequisites
- Full NZ driver's licence for at least six months
- Drivers medical certificate

- NZQA Unit Standard 24089 (Demonstrate knowledge of fatigue management, Work Time and Driver Logbook requirements )
- Approximately 4 - 6 hours of theory
