By using the services provided by Massam Driving Academy and its website, www.massamdrivingacademy.co.nz, registering for a course, submitting online forms, or engaging with Massam Driving Academy in any way, you are accepting the terms and conditions outlined.
1. PAYMENT
Paying your course fees: All fees for driving lessons must be paid in full prior to the commencement of the course. Payment can be made via cash, credit card, or bank transfer.
Cancellation policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, you must provide a valid reason and at least seven days' notice. If you fail to do so, your course fee may not be refundable. Refund policy: Please note that we do not offer refunds for any lessons that have been completed. However, if you need to cancel your course, please be aware that if you cancel seven working days before the course start, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel four to six days before the course start, you will receive a 50% refund. Unfortunately, we cannot offer any refunds for cancellations up to three working days. Additionally, please keep in mind that there may be an administration fee applied to your cancellation. Thank you for your understanding.

2. PRIVACY
Personal information: Your personal information will be held confidential to MASSAM DRIVING ACADEMY, in accordance with the Privacy Act (1993), for the purposes of MASSASM DRIVING ACADEMY courses and associated administration, including promotional activities. You have the right to see all information held by MASSASM DRIVING ACADEMY and may ask at any time for that information to be corrected. Ethnicity information is collected for statistical purposes only. You authorise MASSASM DRIVING ACADEMY the right to send a copy of your course report to your course fee sponsors, including employers if requested.
Promotional material: You authorise MASSAM DRIVING ACADEMY the right to use your name, comments and images (video footage or photographs) that are obtained in relation to your MASSAM DRIVING ACADEMY participation and to disclose this information to third parties for marketing and public relations purposes; these materials will remain the property of MASSASM DRIVING ACADEMY.
3. HEALTH AND WELLBEING
Safety: Your safety and welfare is our primary concern; however, you do participate at your own risk and must accept personal liability for any injury or loss. Note: there are times during your course when you will not be under the direct supervision of staff.
Smoke, drug & alcohol-free: MASSAM DRIVING ACADEMY has a strict no-smoking policy. No alcohol or non-prescription drugs are permitted.
Medical form: Your medical form must be recent and is due eight days before your course start date. If your medical is overdue without prior agreement and is declined for any reason, the terms and conditions of cancellation will apply.
Vehicle safety: You must ensure you are fit and healthy to drive before attending any lessons. The instructor reserves the right to cancel a lesson if they deem you unfit to drive. You must also ensure that you follow all safety instructions given by the instructor while driving.
Liability: Massam Driving Academy and its instructors will not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury to you or your property during a lesson or as a result of any advice given during a lesson.
